My Bio
Lauren is a dedicated social worker student intern currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Originally from Illinois, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia University Wisconsin, where she also completed double minors in social work and social sciences.
As a queer and neurodivergent social worker hopeful, Lauren is passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive, and affirming environment for clients. She believes every individual deserves to feel safe, respected, and empowered in their therapeutic journey. Her approach centers on compassion, authenticity, and meeting clients where they are.
Outside of her clinical training, Lauren enjoys reading, movies, music, video games, and attending concerts. She also brings her teamwork and leadership skills into the community as a volleyball coach, continuing her lifelong love of the sport.
Lauren is especially interested in working with clients who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, those who are neurodivergent, and individuals seeking a safe and welcoming therapeutic space.
