My Bio
Hi, I’m Emma – Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern | Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy for Young Adults
Hey there, I’m Emma (she/her)! I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and completing my internship at Nova MHS. I’m especially passionate about supporting young adults as they navigate life transitions, explore their identities, and embrace the unique experiences that come with being neurodivergent.
I grew up in central Illinois and earned my B.A. in Psychology from UW–Milwaukee in 2024. My goal as a counselor-in-training is to create a safe, welcoming, and affirming space where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories, exploring their emotions, and showing up as their most authentic selves.
When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me spending time with friends, reading a good book, or working on creative projects like knitting and crochet.
I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
