My Bio
Hi, I am Ashley! I earned my bachelor’s degree in nutrition and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
During my graduate internship at Nova Mental Health Counseling, I had the opportunity to work with clients ages 16 and up, supporting a wide range of needs and diagnoses. I’m currently an LPC-IT and continuing to grow my clinical experience at Nova MHS as I work toward full licensure.
I’m especially passionate about working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals. My approach centers on creating a safe, affirming space where clients can be their full, authentic selves. I strive to foster empowerment, self-advocacy, and the development of practical coping skills to help clients meet life’s challenges. My ultimate goal is to support each person in building resilience and living a life that feels aligned with their values and identity.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy taking nature walks with my dog, doing fiber arts, baking, reading, playing board and video games, and listening to podcasts.
