Q&A about groups:
Q: When is the group and who is able to attend?
A: This depends on the type of group. Please see the brochures above for more details (each brochure has a scrolling option).
Q: Do I need to wear a mask?
A: If you are feeling healthy, this is up to you. We also provide masks if you want one. Anyone attending therapy or groups in person need to have their COVID-19 vaccinations up to date. If you are sick, please stay home. If you are recently recovering from being sick, we kindly ask you do wear a mask.
Q: Can I join a group that has already started?
A: Yes, all group are currently considered "open groups" meaning that new people can join each session.
Q: Do you take insurance for groups?
A: No, for the groups we are currently "Out of Pocket" only. This means that the group member and/or family is solely responsible for the fee.
Q: What does it cost?
A: Group prices are dependent on the experience and credentials held by the group leader. Sliding scale is also available to those who need it. Contact us for a free consult and more information.
Q: If the person attending is a minor, do the parents have to be there?
A: A parent or guardian should plan on being there the first 15 min. of the first group if under the age of 18 to sign paperwork and determine payment. I will not be able to see your child without this paperwork.
Q: Were do parents/ rides wait?
A: Parents/ rides can wait in the waiting room. If the ride decides to leave they must be able to return within 15 minuets and provide the therapist with an active phone number.
Q: What if we are late?
A: It is always important to call the therapist if you are going to be late or cannot attend. If you attend 15 minuets late you may not be able to attend the session due to the lack of ability to monitor for late arrivals. This is especially true for groups held later in the day.
Q: I am interested in an Online group, what do I need to do to prepare.
A: You will need either a laptop, smart phone or a laptop. You will need to have a quiet and private area to protect your privacy and others. It is also recommended you use headphones. You will need an email so you can be sent paperwork and the link to the video session. If you need help setting up for the first session, please call.
